Suspect arrested in thefts from several vehicles

LITTLEVALLEY— Joshua S. Harting, 19, of Little Valley, is facing charges in connection with thefts from several vehicles here.
Harting was charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal mischief. He was arraigned in Village Court, where bail was set at $2,500.
An investigation found Harting broke into several vehicles April 24 and stole items from them, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office. The stolen property was recovered after a search warrant was served on Harting’s Fair Oak Street apartment, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
