One of two drivers in crash is charged with felony DWI

A two-car accident earlier this week in Wyoming County has resulted in alcohol- related charges against one of the drivers, state police reported Wednesday.
Gerald I. Smith II, 44, of Gainesville, was charged with a felony count of driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, driving without a seat belt and a violation of the open container law.
The crash occurred Monday on School Road in Gainesville.
Smith, who suffered a leg injury, was issued tickets to appear in Gainesville Town Court.
