Police find pills, pot in car of woman flagged for DWI
A Lackawanna woman faces DWI and drug charges after she was stopped on Southwestern Boulevard for driving without her headlights on early Saturday, state police said.
Troopers Paul Reilly and Jeannette Kelly pulled over Lynn Marie Sarach, 43, and determined that she was intoxicated, officials said.
She recorded a blood-alcohol content of .10 percent. In addition, the troopers found an array of pills—Darvocet, hydrocodone and Xanax—that were not in a prescription bottle, along with a marijuana cigarette in her car.
Sarach was charged with DWI, three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance not in an original container and unlawful possession of marijuana.
She was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Town of Orchard Park Court at a later date.
