Office building, undergoing conversion, is vandalized
Story tools:
The former Dulski Federal Building, which is undergoing an $85 million conversion into office and living space, was vandalized over the weekend, according to police.
Officials with Uniland Development Co., which owns the former federal building at 200 Delaware Ave., reported the vandalism to Buffalo police Monday.
Company officials say someone between Friday and Monday somehow got access to the site and climbed up to a lower roof on the building. The vandal used a wooden two-by-four and a cinder block to do extensive damage to glass panels and some of the frames, and the roof liner will have to be replaced.
