Five teenagers charged in Colden school break-in
Five teenagers were charged in connection with the burglary of a Colden elementary school in October, State Police investigators reported Monday.
Charged with burglary and criminal mischief were Kenneth Kongesor, 17, and Luke Langendorfer, 17, both of Colden; Nathan Davey, 17, of Glenwood; Derek Bonafede, 17, of Derby; and a 15-year-old Sardinia boy.
The break-in occurred Oct. 11 at Colden Elementary School, 8263 Boston Colden Road, when the five allegedly forced their way inside and stole a safe, laptop, computer servers and hardware, tools, money and other items.
Police said significant damage was reported inside the school as well as to property outside the school.
