Sex offender arrested for failure to register

DELEVAN—A Delevan man was picked up on arrest warrants over the weekend for failing to register with the state sex offender registry, Cattaraugus County sheriff’s officials said.
Mark A. Wentz Jr., 34, of Pine View Drive, was arrested Saturday evening and arraigned in Town of Machias Court. He was held in the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bail.
