Restitution, probation ordered in burglary
LOCKPORT — A Niagara Falls man avoided jail time Monday in a burglary case but must pay $1,285 in restitution and testify against his co-defendant, who is his half brother.
Henri Alfiere, 26, of LaSalle Avenue, was sentenced to three years’ probation by Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III. Alfiere pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of second-degree criminal trespass for his role in the Jan. 17, 2008, entry at a garage on East Britton Drive in the Town of Niagara, where a golf cart was stolen.
The co-defendant, who also is charged with other burglaries, is Anthony S. Primerano, 18, of Lindbergh Avenue, Niagara Falls.
