Police arrest parolee in sex attack on girl

CONEWANGO — A parolee faces felony charges for allegedly raping a girl younger than 15, state troopers said Wednesday.

Brandon J. Darcy, 25, of Conewango Valley, who was arrested Monday, was charged with felony rape, criminal sex act, endangering the welfare of a child and violating parole.

Darcy was paroled from prison last May 23 after serving 2 1/2 years on two felony criminal mischief charges, according to state corrections records.

He was arraigned and is in Chautauqua County Jail without bail.
