Suspect in sale of pills being held without bail

BATAVIA — A Batavia man arrested Monday faces felony counts after allegedly selling quantities of pills that were controlled substances to an agent of the Genesee County Drug Task Force.

Shane Reisman, 39, was taken into custody at his State Street home and is being held without bail for an arraignment today in City Court.

The charges include criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance and followed a grand jury indictment involving sales in and around the area.

The task force includes officers from the Batavia and Le Roy Police departments and deputies from the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office.
