Man faces DWI charge after crash in mall lot
A Buffalo man involved in a property damage accident in the parking lot at Eastern Hills Mall in Clarence was arrested on a charge of aggravated drunken driving authorities said.
Sheriff’s Deputies Robert Rine and Ben Pisa reported Michael W. Csati, 58, also was driving with an open container of alcohol when he crashed into another vehicle at about 4 p. m.
Csati agreed to take a blood-alcohol test and was transported to the sheriff’s substation in Clarence where his alcohol level registered at .20 percent. He was later released to a third party, pending arraignment in Clarence Town Court, the deputies said.
