Minor Clarence accident brings DWI charge
An Alden woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after she was involved in a minor accident Wednesday night on Harris Hill Road in Clarence.
Deputies responded to the report of a minor accident, and after administering a series of roadside sobriety tests and then giving her a breath test, they charged Kristen A. Bingenheimer, 31, with aggravated driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child.
The woman’s 12-year-old daughter, a passenger in her vehicle, was turned over to her father.
Bingenheimer was taken to the Erie County Holding Center and is to be arraigned in Clarence Town Court.
