Seven Brockport students charged in off-campus party
BROCKPORT — Authorities have charged seven Western New York college students in connection with an off-campus party where a freshman fell out a window and was paralyzed.
Bryan Parslow, 18, of Caledonia, suffered neck, back and spinal cord injuries Sept. 5 when he fell out of a second- floor bathroom window at an unsanctioned Brockport fraternity house.
After a three-month investigation, police have slapped seven Brockport State College students, all all males aged 18 to 21, with charges that include making false statements and providing alcohol to minors.
None of the charges relates to Parslow’s injuries. Police say that he doesn’t remember how he fell out the window and that there’s no evidence that anyone intended to hurt him.
