Cattaraugus grand jury indicts three men
LITTLE VALLEY — Indictments against three men have been reported by a Cattaraugus County grand jury, one of them charging an Allegany man with identity theft.
Anthony R. Monroe, 62, of Allegany, was indicted on 14 charges: four counts of second-degree forgery, six counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, second- degree criminal impersonation, two counts of first-degree identity theft and welfare fraud.
Between March 2006 and January 2007, Monroe is accused of using forged paperwork, impersonating another person and falsely receiving public assistance welfare benefits.
Benjamin J. Bloomfield, 31, of Olean, was indicted on charges of second-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree menacing and second-degree unlawful imprisonment May 27 at a house in the City of Olean when he displayed a weapon and restrained a person.
Dana M. Reimer, 47, of South Dayton, was indicted on charges of second- degree sexual contact against a child, first-degree sexual abuse, two counts of second-degree sexual abuse and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Between May 2004 and August 2007 in the Town of Little Valley, Reimer is charged with having sexual contact with a child under age 11 and having subjected other 11-and 14-year-olds to sexual contact.
Arraignments are scheduled for Dec. 8 before Judge Larry M. Himelein.
