Basom man charged with DWI in Akron
Erie County sheriff’s deputies early Friday arrested a Basom man on a charge of driving while intoxicated and accused him of driving with a license that had been revoked following a previous alcohol-related conviction.
Brian Printup, 41, was stopped on Main Street in Akron shortly after 3 a. m.
Printup failed several roadside sobriety tests and refused to take a chemical test, deputies said.
Deputy Daniel Brinkerhoff also charged Printup, of Council House Road, with felony aggravated unlicensed operation, said sheriff’s officials.
