Here are the week’s reports of trading in the stocks of local companies or in the companies that have significant local operations, by directors and executives of the companies:

DirecTV Group Inc.: Doyle, Patrick T., chief financial officer, exercised an option for 42,000 shares of common at $15.69 each on Aug. 22, immediately sold 42,000 shares of common at $28.59 each, and now directly and indirectly holds 43,010.

Ford Motor Co.: Cheng, Mei Wei, officer, purchased 50,000 shares of common at $4.47 each on Aug. 22 and now directly and indirectly holds 146,224.

Ikon Office Solutions Inc.: Landgraf, Kurt M., director, exercised an option for 51,010 shares of common between $4.73 and $9.13 each on Aug. 27, immediately sold 51,010 shares of common at $17 each, and now directly and indirectly holds 27,034.

Mod-Pac Corp.: Keane, Kevin T., chairman of the board, purchased 400 shares of common at $3.90 each on Aug. 22 and now directly and indirectly holds 478,440.

Northrop Grumman Corp.: Peters, Aulana L., director, exercised an option for 3,000 shares of common at $38.88 each on Aug. 22, immediately sold 3,000 shares of common at $69.97 each, and now directly and indirectly holds 19,366.

Praxair Inc.: Angel, Stephen F., chief executive officer, exercised an option for 125,000 shares of common at $23.11 each on Aug. 22, immediately sold 125,000 shares of common between $90.77 and $91.18 each, and now directly and indirectly holds 44,270.

SLM Corp.: Martin, Michael E., director, purchased 30,000 shares of common at $14.34 each on Aug. 25 and now directly and indirectly holds 58,900. Schoellkopf, Wolfgang, director, purchased 5,000 shares of common at $12.78 each on Aug. 20 and now directly and indirectly holds 62,400.
