Buffalo man critically wounded

A 29-year-old Buffalo man was seriously wounded late Thursday afternoon,.

Buffalo Police Narcotics Unit was executing a search warrant about 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of 7th Street when Wilson Marrero pulled up to the officers and told them he had been shot.

Officers administered first aid before he was transported to Erie County Medical Center, where is listed in critical condition at ECMC.

Detectives believe Marrero was shot multiple times while in the vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police confidential Line at 847-2255.
