Town of Boston man charged with cocaine possession
Erie County sheriff's deputies using a search warrant on a Town of Boston home have confiscated more than an ounce of cocaine and arrested two people, one accused of endangering the welfare of young children.
An investigation by the sheriff's Narcotics Unit led to a search warrant being used Wednesday afternoon at a home on Pin Oak Drive, where deputies found cocaine believed to have a street value of about $2,000. Three children, ages 3, 7 and 8, live in the home, according to police reports.
The Narcotics Unit charged Terrence M. Dearmyer, 28, with two felony drug possession counts and three counts of endangering the welfare of a chid, sheriff's officials said. Deputies also charged William L. Putman, 42, of Donaldson Road, Buffalo, with two counts of felony drug possession.
Sheriff's officials notified the Erie County Child Protection Services about the young children in the home.
