Lindsay Koslowski and Ryan McGowan
Lindsay Koslowski and Ryan McGowan were married on May 30, 2009 at St. Louis R. C. Church in Buffalo. Father Paul Stellar officiated the ceremony.
Escorted by her mother Merrilee Neale, the bride wore a custom designed vintage-inspired silk shantung dress with an overlay of beaded alencon lace hand sewn in intricate patterns on English netting. Lindsay carried an over arm bouquet of pink peony-flowering tulips wrapped with her Irish rosary.
Maid of honor Elizabeth Mehltretter wore a calf length pink charmeuse dress with a chocolate brown lace overlay. Best man Michael Hewner, along with groomsmen Jonathan Lelito and Joseph Szymanski, friends of the groom, wore classic tuxedos adorned with boutonnieres of wax flowers and rosemary. The groom's boutonniere was a pink ranunculus. Readers were Dr. Kenneth Krackow, Lee Koz and Paul McGowan. Sebnem Mekinulov, principal soprano with the BPO, performed during the Mass.
The reception followed at the Roycroft Inn in East Aurora, where Amy Walts played the Celtic harp and guests enjoyed a square, three-tiered cake covered in tulips by Muscoreil's Fine Desserts. Each table had a unique pave style floral centerpiece designed by The Floristry.
The couple now lives in the Village of Williamsville and are on their honeymoon in Ireland this month.
