Katherine Battaglia and Daniel Pogorzelski

Daniel P. Pogorzelski and his bride Katherine A. Battaglia were united in marriage at 4 p. m. on October 10, 2009 at Christ the King Chapel at Canisius College by Rev. Louis Kline of Queen of Martyrs Church in Cheektowaga.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis J. Battaglia of Buffalo and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. Kerry D. Pogorzelski of Springville and Ms. Suzanne M. Pogorzelski of Bowling Green, Kentucky. A reception was held in Harry's Harbour Place Grille.

The bride is a graduate of Mount St. Mary Academy and Canisius College and has a Masters of Science from Canisius in Deaf Education. The bridegroom is a graduate of Warren East High School and Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

The couple is planning a spring honeymoon in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.
