Sarah Nelsen and Michael Adamek were married on July 4, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Church in Kenmore by Rev. Richard Reina. A reception was held at Brierwood Country Club in Hamburg. The bride's parents are David and Sharon Nelsen of the Town of Tonawanda. The parents of the groom are Robert and Gloria
Adamek of North Tonawanda. Both the bride and groom are graduates of Buffalo State College with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Broadcast Communications. The bride is a television news director at WGRZ and the groom is a videographer for the Buffalo Bills. After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple will reside in the Town of Tonawanda.
