The Tonawanda City School Board unanimously elected a former president and vice president to their respective seats during their annual re-organizational meeting Tuesday night.
Board Member Sharon Stuart, who served as board president in the past, received the full support of the board to return to the seat. Stuart, an administrative assistant for Dietrich funeral homes, is serving her second term on the board.
Jennifer Mysliwy, who served as Stuart’s vice president previously, was also unanimously elected back to the seat. Also a second term board member, Mysliwy works part-time for the MusicalFare Theatre and is a stay-at-home mother.
Stuart and Mysliwy lost reelection to their leadership positions last year to Jackie Smilinich and Demelt Shaw, both of whom no longer serve on the board.
