The Aurora Theatre’s seventh annual family film series continues Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the adventure story “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.” The complete weekly movie showings are listed at www.theauroratheatre.com and feature classics including “Stuart Little” on July 31st, “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” on August 7 and the finale “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory” on August 14.
The 1925 movie theater, at 673 Main Street was opened by businessmen who included Irving Price, founder of Fisher-Price, which is the sponsor of the “Summer Family Film Series.”
