Obama administration is good at hiding truth

The Obama administration has acted masterfully in covering up all recent salient scandals, which include the Mexican gun-running of Fast and Furious; the murders of Ambassador Chris Stevens and his staff in Benghazi; IRS targeting and intimidation of conservative political and religious organizations; Department of Justice spying on the Associated Press; Attorney General Eric Holder accusing Fox News reporter James Rosen of national security leaks; Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius shaking down health insurance executives for contributions; National Security Agency secretly monitoring American citizens’ phone calls and emails; etc.

Democrats are kept busy inveigling many derisory and insulting excuses. Their main defense insists, “there is not one shred of evidence to prove anything.” This might be true because they have carefully covered up by leaving no paper trail and the mainstream media have been complicit in the conspiracy by simply ignoring or downplaying these incidences. Moreover when relevant officials who are in charge of these government agencies testify before Congress, they are consistently evasive by pleading the Fifth Amendment, claiming they can’t recall or simply made mistakes.

This compels administration officials to bloviate that they will accept full responsibility and persist that those who are responsible will be held accountable. Thus far, no one has been arrested or even charged. Some have even been promoted. This administration promised “it will be the most open and transparent in history,” but has neatly swept everything under the rug.

This explains why Edward Snowden went to Britain’s the Guardian rather than the American press. If a Republican administration were in power, the media would portray Snowden as a whistle-blower hero and there would be pervasive outcries for impeachment.
