KeyBank’s top locally based executive is expanding his duties to include Rochester.
Gary Quenneville was named regional sales executive for KeyBank’s newly created Western New York Region and president for its Buffalo market, the Cleveland-based bank announced Friday.
And James R. Barger was named commercial banking team lead for the Western New York Region and president for the Rochester market.
KeyBank’s expanded Western New York territory includes Rochester. The bank said Quenneville will oversee the region’s business banking, private banking and commercial banking businesses. He will also partner with sales managers of the retail bank, Key Community Development Bank, Key Investment Services and Key Mortgage Banking.
Quenneville, a Clarence resident, joined KeyBank in 1985 as a management associate and has spent his entire career with the company in numerous positions.
Barger will report to Quenneville and is responsible for overseeing Key’s Community Bank franchise in the Rochester market, as well as leading Key’s Commercial Banking team in the expanded Western New York region.
