Patrick S. Conway, a Clarence resident and senior at Clarence Central High School, was 17 days away from his graduation when he died Wednesday morning in a head-on collision between the motorcycle he was riding and a car on Main Street near Harris Hill Road in Clarence. He was 18.
Mr. Conway was born in Buffalo and educated in Clarence. He was a part-time busboy at Hirsch’s Restaurant on Main Street in Clarence.He was an enlisted member of the U.S. Marine Corps and was to attend boot camp in August.
Family members said Mr. Conway was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed working out, running and working on his Ford Bronco.
Survivors include his parents, Dawn C. and Steven G. Conway; a sister, Danielle; and his maternal grandparents, Norman J. and Christine Keicher.
A memorial Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Monday in Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 8500 Main St., Clarence.
