A man stole $100 from a woman after pointing a gun and threatening to “blow her brains out” at an automatic teller machine at a Seneca Street bank branch.
The armed robbery took place at the Bank of America branch, 2221 Seneca St., around 6:35 p.m. on Saturday, Buffalo Police reported.
The victim told police she was inside the small booth containing the ATM machine when the man asked her for help getting inside the booth.
Once she let him inside, the man pointed a silver and black handgun at her and threatened to kill her, police said.
Police said the suspect was a short white male, apparently in his 50s, with salt-and-pepper hair and wearing a dark-colored hoodie sweatshirt.
At least two other weekend robberies involved a male suspect, described by victims as being in his 50s or 60s, carrying a silver handgun. Police were not saying Sunday night whether they believe there is any connection between the incidents.
