After a four-day trial, a jury convicted 38-year-old Ray Davis of criminally possessing a weapon, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said Friday.

Erie County probation officers found a 9 mm Glock pistol during a search of his Clinton Street home last September, according to the office.

Officers found the weapon and three magazines loaded with 27 rounds of ammunition, the office said.

Davis faces a prison term of up to 15 years when sentenced Aug. 23 by State Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller.
