Touring on the strength of his most recent effort, the sturdy, rock- and folk-inflected “2 Lanes of Freedom,” Tim McGraw kicks off the summer season at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center with a concert at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Hot on the heels of Sunday’s star-studded television special, “Tim McGraw’s Superstar Summer Night,” McGraw’s popularity remains immense, as does his influence on a new generation of country artists, among them the Band Perry and Lady Antebellum. Two more artists influenced and inspired by McGraw’s work – Love & Theft and Brantley Gilbert – will open Sunday’s show.
Tickets are $30 for general admission on the lawn, to between $44.75 and $84.45 for reserved seating (livenation.com).
