Shootings becoming a daily occurrence
On April 28, The Buffalo News published a story titled, “6 shootings leave 2 men wounded.” One of my main concerns is that these shootings are becoming so commonplace that people are becoming too used to them. People are so inured to these incidents that there is very little outrage anymore.
I remember many, many years ago being horrified and shocked when hearing of even one shooting in our city. Now they have become daily occurrences. And to top it off, we have governmental leaders and a Congress with no intense interest in serious gun control.
