M&T Bank promoted Beatrice Smallets to group vice president in the technology division. Smallets has been with the bank for 25 years. She received her bachelor’s degree from University of Toledo. Also, the bank promoted Timothy D. Leboeuf to group vice president in its treasury division. Leboeuf has been with the bank for 10 years. He received both his bachelor’s degree and MBA from Canisius College.
Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center named Dr. Jeffrey O. Burnett director-elect of the Osteopathic Family Practice Residency Program. A board certified primary care physician, Burnett joined the residency program’s faculty in July 2012. He is a graduate of Canisius College and the University of New England School of Osteopathic Medicine. Burnett is a clinical assistant professor at the University at Buffalo and has been in private practice since 2003.
Lumsden & McCormick, a Western New York certified public accounting firm, promoted Ashley Allen to manager. Ashley, a CPA, is a Geneseo State College graduate. She has been with the firm since 2007.
The Western New York and Finger Lakes Regions of the American Red Cross appointed Nancy Blaschak regional chief executive officer. Blaschak has been with the Red Cross since 1979 serving as regional executive for Western New York for the past 21 years, She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo and an MBA from Canisius College.
The Niagara Lutheran Health System named Mary Lynn Martin director of human resources. She will be responsible for the human resource needs of the Health System’s nearly 800 employees on two campuses. Martin has been with the organization for 22 years. She attended the University at Buffalo and received her Professional Human Resources designation through Cornell University.
Brisbane Consulting Group promoted William P. Allen to manager. Allen, a CPA, recently earned the Accredited in Business Valuation designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated from Le Moyne College.
Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center appointed Sherria M. Lewis, a physician’s assistant, to the medical staff at Summit Family Medicine. Lewis is a graduate of Daemen College, where she earned a master and a bachelor’s degree. She previously worked as both an inpatient and outpatient physician assistant with the Buffalo Medical Group and the Exigence Group.
