SILVER CREEK – One incumbent and one new trustee won election to the Silver Creek Village Board Tuesday.
Thomas Harmon, who had the Republican Party endorsement, won his bid for re-election with 182 votes. Warren Kelly, also on the Republican line, received 202 votes and will be joining him on the board.
Democrats Anthony Pearl and Deanna Coggins were defeated. Pearl receive 147 votes and Coggins 138.
Nick Piccolo was unopposed in his bid for mayor. He was endorsed by both parties and had a total of 307 votes.
There were more than 30 absentee ballots opened at the polls on Tuesday. The count was announced as unofficial until it could be certified by the Chautauqua County Board of Elections.
