A Buffalo woman was arrested for using metal knuckles to beat up a woman in the city’s Fruit Belt neighborhood, police said Saturday.

Dorthea Aughtry, 48, of Orange Street, is accused of beating up the woman at about 6 p.m. Friday on High Street. Police said they tracked Aughtry to her Orange Street home, where she had locked the door and taunted pursuing officers.

She was charged with assault, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and obstructing governmental administration.

The 45-year-old victim sought medical attention on her own, police added.
