Seneca Gaming gets strong marks in poll

Story tools:

NIAGARA FALLS—In the opinion of gambling industry executives from across North America, Seneca Gaming Corp. is a winner.

In a recently completed annual survey, Seneca Gaming ranked 14th out of 32 gambling companies when executives were asked their view of the company as a potential employer. Seneca Gaming’s ranking placed it ahead of such casino operators as Foxwoods and Harrah’s Entertainment.

The survey was conducted by Bristol Associates, a Los Angeles-based executive search firm, and Gaming Industry Observer, a trade publication.

Seneca Gaming operates the Seneca Niagara Casino&Hotel in Niagara Falls, Seneca Allegany Casino&Hotel in Salamanca and Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino in Buffalo on behalf of the Seneca Nation of Indians. Since opening Seneca Niagara Casino in 2002, Seneca Gaming has become one of the largest private employers in Western New York, with more than 3,700 employees at its three casino operations.
