A missing 69-year-old man who lives in a group home for adults on Richmond Avenue was being sought by Buffalo police late Monday, and police were asking for help from the public in locating him.
Police say that Gregory Beiter was last seen at the group home sometime between 2 and 6 p.m. Monday.
Beiter is described as a 5-foot-5, 135 pound, gray-haired man with a beard and a mustache. He is said to be frail looking. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored coat with a hood, light gray sweat shirt, faded blue sweat pants and slip-on leather shoes, according to police reports.
Anyone with information about Beiter's whereabouts was being asked to call 911.
