Burglaries at 2 stores lead to arrest of 4

LOCKPORT—Burglaries at two businesses in northern Niagara County led to the arrests of four young men, sheriff’s deputies said.

The burglaries occurred Thursday at Knead the Dough on Ransomville Road, Ransomville, and Ed’s Country Store on Lake Road, Wilson.

Charged with multiple counts of burglary and grand larceny were Adam B. Clark, 18, of Ransomville Road; John Kalita, 20, of North Ridge Road; and a 16-year-old boy. Also charged was a 15-year-old boy, who was referred to the county Probation Department.

In addition, deputies said the 16- year-old boy was charged in connection with an August burglary at Casey’s Malt Shop on Ransomville Road.
