Buffalo
The Planning Board will meet at 8:15 a. m. Tuesday when officials will review design plans for the proposed conversion of the old AM&A’s store on Main Street into a hotel, apartments and commercial space. Also this week:
• The Common Council’s Finance Committee will meet at 10 a. m. Tuesday in Council Chambers on the 13th floor of City Hall.
• The Council’s Community Development Committee will meet at 1 p. m. Tuesday in Council Chambers on the 13th floor of City Hall.
• The Sewer Authority will meet at 8 a. m. Wednesday in Room 1038 of City Hall.
Depew
The Board of Education will meet at 8 p. m. Tuesday, preceded by an executive session at 7, in Terrace Education Building, 591 Terrace Blvd. The board is expected to accept the resignation of Superintendent Kim Mueller, who will assume that post at the Wellsville School District in mid-January.
Grand Island
The Town Board will hold a workshop meeting at 7 p. m. Monday in the AV/PD Tech Room 124 in the high school.
Newstead
The Town Board will meet in a work session at 7:30 p. m. Monday in Town Hall, 5 Clarence Center Road, Akron.
North Collins
The Village Board will meet at 7 p. m. Tuesday in Village Hall, 10543 Main St.
City of Tonawanda
The Tonawanda School District and the City of Tonawanda will host a public update on their shared municipal service incentive project at 7 p. m. Monday at Tonawanda High School. Representatives from the school district and city will be on hand to deliver their reports and answer questions from residents.
Town of Tonawanda
The Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School Board will hold a work session at 7 p. m. Tuesday in the community room at the Philip Sheridan Building, 3200 Elmwood Ave.
