Driver treated after car careens 200 feet off road

SOUTH DAYTON—A Dunkirk man was taken to Lake Shore Hospital, Irving, after his car left Route 322 in the Town of Villenova about 4:15 p. m. Sunday and careened 200 feet off the pavement, stopping in a resident’s front yard, the Chautauqua County sheriff’s office reports.

Adam J. Buckreis, 23, told deputies that he was having severe chest pains and lost control of his vehicle. He was treated at the scene, then taken to the hospital by South Dayton Fire Rescue.
