Loraine A. De Luca, an elementary school teacher in Buffalo, died unexpectedly Monday in her Town of Tonawanda home. She Born in Buffalo, she earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from Medaille College and Buffalo State College, respectively. She had been a teacher in Buffalo Public Schools since 1990, beginning at Southside Elementary. She also taught at School 81 on Tacoma Avenue and West Hertel Academy.
Her interests included taking dance and Italian lessons.
Survivors include a son, Eric Kinsella; her parents, Robert and Carol; a sister Linda; and three brothers, Nicholas, Michael and Joseph.
Services will be at 8 p. m. today in Amigone Funeral Home, 2600 Sheridan Drive, Town of Tonawanda.
