Two-car crash sends eight people to ECMC

Eight people were sent to the hospital with injuries following a two-car crash about 1:30 p. m. Saturday at Ontario Street and Riverside Avenue.
The injuries did not appear to be life threatening, a Buffalo police spokesman said.
One vehicle was headed south on Riverside and another was going east on Ontario when they crashed in the intersection. Rural/Metro Medical Services dispatched four ambulances to the scene. Most of the victims were taken to Erie County Medical Center.
