Democrats are holding Jefferson-Jackson Dinner

OLEAN—The Cattaraugus County Democratic Party will hold its annual Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner on Thursday in the Old Library Restaurant.

Special guests include Malcolm A. Smith, of Queens, president of the State Senate, and Rep. Eric Massa, representing the 29th Congressional District.

Hosting the event will be Linda Witte, county legislator and mayoral candidate in the City of Olean, and District Attorney Edward M. Sharkey, who is seeking his fourth term in office.

Tickets for the 6 p. m. dinner are $45 a person, or $80 a couple, and are available from Witte by calling 373-1657 or through party Chairwoman Joyce Melfi at 372-4838.
