Following is a weekly listing of upcoming events of area faith groups held around Niagara County.
Monday
PRAYER:Ministry team from churches throughout the Buffalo Niagara region utilizes God’s word and training to assist anyone who is sick physically, emotionally or spiritually, 7 to 9 p. m., St. James United Church of Christ, 4661 Porter Road, Niagara Falls. No fee and no appointment necessary. Appointments can also be made by calling 884-0048.
Friday
FALL FORUM:Forum held by Church Women United of Niagara Falls and Vicinity will focus on women’s safety. Guest speakers will be from the Victims Unit of the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, 1 p. m., Community of Christ, 5235 Lewiston Road, Niagara Falls.
Saturday
FOOD FAIRE: Annual “Taste of Grace Food Faire” will offer specialty dishes prepared by church members, including breakfast foods, a French-Canadian dish called Toitere, barbecue hamburgers, pulled pork barbecue sandwiches, breads, stuffed mushrooms, sauerkraut, bratwurst and more, 9 a. m. to 1 p. m., Grace Lutheran Church, 375 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Proceeds will go to the Grace Lutheran Church Restoration Fund, the North Tonawanda Inter-Church Food Pantry and World Hunger Relief.
SPAGHETTI DINNER:4 to 7 p. m., Ransomville United Methodist Church, 2573 Youngstown-Lockport Road. Donation is $8 for adults or $5 for children. Tickets available at church office, from church members or at the door.
TURKEY DINNER:22nd annual dinner, 4:30 p. m, Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 75 East Ave., Lockport. Dinners are $8.50 for adults, $4 for children ages 3 to 10 and free for children under 3. Presale tickets available at church office. Dine in or takeout available.
