‘Visit the Farm Day’ on tap for today

BELMONT—The public is invited to take a driving tour around Allegany County to visit small farms from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. today.
“Visit the Farm Day” is sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Allegany/ Cattaraugus County and features a diverse array of rural agricultural enterprises at eight farms.
Travelers will move through the countryside of Freedom, Fillmore, Houghton and Rushford, viewing the alpacas, poultry, sheep, grass-fed beef and dairy animals.
