CAT ADOPTION: Niagara Feline Friends is hosting a cat adoption event from 1 to 5 p. m. Sunday at Petco, 1459 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst. The adoption fee is $70. All the available cats will have been spayed or neutered, given their first series of shots and tested for feline leukemia and FIV. BOY SCOUT GOLF TOURNAMENT: Greater Niagara Frontier Council, Boy Scouts of America, has announced that its 22nd annual Scouter Citizen of the Year Golf Tournament will be held from 11 a. m. to 7:30 p. m. Monday at Wanakah Country Club in Hamburg. Last year’s tournament raised more than $35,000 for services that benefit local Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturing and Exploring programs and Scout Reach programs for youth and families in the local community. Pat Peri Jr. is tournament chairman.
