Motorcycle rolls over, injuring operator, 19

MAPLE SPRINGS—A motorcyclist was taken to Westfield Memorial Hospital for treatment of apparently minor injuries after he rolled his machine over at about 6:30 p. m. Saturday on Route 430 at Maple Springs-Ellery Road, Town of Ellery, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Nicholas R. Miller, 19, of South Erie Street, Mayville, told deputies that a vehicle in front of him slowed down to make a left turn and he lost control when he drove onto the shoulder to pass it on the right. Charges are pending.
