TOWER LIGHTING: Iskalo Development announced that the historic Electric Tower at 535 Washington St. will be lit in teal tonight to recognize Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The tower was lit green to celebrate Earth Day on Wednesday.

FREE CONCERT: The Eastman Chamber Music Society will perform a free concert at 3 p. m. FREE CONCERT: A free concert and coffee house featuring Kingdom Bound performing artist Tina Williams will be held from 5 to 8 p. m. Sunday in South Wales Presbyterian Church, 2532 Emery Road, South Wales. For information, call 759-6170.

CHICKEN BARBECUE: A chicken barbecue sponsored by the Elma Republican Committee will start at noon Sunday in the Jamison Road Fire Hall, Jamison and Maple roads, Elma. Tickets are $9 and takeouts are available. Local Republican candidates will be present.

SPAGHETTI DINNER: The Alden Christian Theatre Society will host a spaghetti dinner from noon to 6 p. m. Sunday at 1470 Church St., in Alden. Tickets are $7 for adults; $4 for children 10 and under. NICE THREADS: The Buffalo Chapter of the Embroiderers Guild of America will exhibit “Treasures in Thread” weekdays from noon to 5 p. m. and weekends from 2 p. m. to 5 p. m. starting Sunday until May 17 at the Kenan Center House Gallery, 433 Locust St., Lockport. PATIENT EDUCATION: The National Kidney Foundation of Western New York will present “Kidney Survivor: Lessons Learned from Experience” from 3 p. m. to 5 p. m. Sunday at the Buffalo Museum of Science, 1020 Humboldt Pkwy. Speaker Kathe LeBeau will share her experiences, hope and strength as a hemodialysis patient. Cost is $5 and includes refreshments. BOWL-A-THON: The Joan A. Male Family Support Center will host its annual Spare the Children and Help Strike Out Abuse Bowl-a-thon from noon to 4 p. m. Sunday at Recckio’s Lanes, 2426 South Park Ave. Cost is $20 for open bowling, free food and drink, T-shirt, shoe rental, as well as face painting, auctions, live music, karaoke and a chance at many door prizes.
