Delaware Park Fitness Camp, a group exercise program for those ages 18 and over, will be held at 12:30 p. m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays through Dec. 17 under the direction and supervision of certified personal trainers. Participants should bring comfortable workout clothes, sneakers, heart rate monitor (optional), sunscreen, towel and water bottle. The camp is held near the intersection of Parkside Avenue and Route 198 (Agassiz entrance of Delaware Park). The cost is $85 for five-session package, $150 for 10-session package, $240 for 20-session package, or $20 for individual sessions. For information or to register, call 838-1249, Ext. 11.

Gilda’s Club, 1140 Delaware Ave., offers support groups, workshops and social activities for anyone touched by cancer. Call 332-5900 for information or visit www.gildasclubwny.org . The club also will offer Kid Support, a free, curriculum- based, peer-focused support group designed to address the psychological and social needs of children who have a family member or friend with cancer, as well as the children with cancer. A flu shot clinic will be offered from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. Wednesday at Schofield Adult Wellness Center, 2222 Elmwood Ave., Town of Tonawanda. Nurses from Maxim Healthcare services will give the immunizations that are covered by Medicare Part B, Independent Health and several private insurance carriers. Without insurance, the cost is $30. “The Many Faces of Breast Cancer,” a national program that educates women about the risks of breast cancer and provides support to breast cancer survivors, will be held from 10 a. m. to noon Saturday in Marinaccio’s, 5877 Main St., Williamsville. US Too!, a support group of prostate cancer survivors, has free speakers available for organizational meetings. The speakers provide current information on prostate cancer and stress the importance of being checked for the disease that affects one in six men in the United States.
