The Erie County Department of Senior Services will hold a six-week “Powerful Tools for Caregivers” program from 1 to 3:30 p. m. on Tuesdays (beginning next Tuesday through July 28) at the Town of Aurora Senior Center, 101 King St., East Aurora. Caregivers will learn how to reduce stress, improve self-confidence, locate helpful resources and balance their lives while taking care of a physically or mentally impaired relative. Free respite care is available for the memory-impaired. The cost of the classes is $25, but there is no charge for members of Independent Health or Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York.
