Orchard Park Garden Club will hold its spring plant sale from 8 a. m. to 2 p. m. Saturday at the Orchard Park Railroad Depot, behind the Orchard Park Library.

Smallwood Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale from 8 a. m. to noon Saturday at the Evanstown Plaza, Evans Street near Sheridan Drive, Williamsville. Members will meet at 7 p. m. Monday at Forest Elementary School, 250 N. Forest Road, Williamsville.

Bud’n Bloom Garden Club will sponsor a plant sale and garden tour to benefit Literacy Volunteers from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. Saturday at 8661 Walker Road, Portland.

The third annual Green Garden Fair/Plant Sale will be held from noon to 3 p. m. Sunday at Unitarian Universalist Church of Amherst, 6320 Main St., Williamsville

The African Violet and Gesneriad Society of West-ern New York will hold a membership meeting and host a program on Chiritas at 7:30 p. m. Tuesday at the Depew High School cafeteria, 5201 Transit Road, Depew. All welcome. For information call 652-8658.

District 8 FGCNYS Inc. Judges Council will meet at 10 a. m. Thursday at Brighton Community Church, 1225 Brighton Road, Town of Tonawanda. Following a business meeting, horticulture specimens of flowering bulbs, flowering branches and perennials will be judged.

Cinderella Isle Garden Club members will meet for a perennial exchange and white elephant/ticket auction at 7 p. m. Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2100 Whitehaven Road, Grand Island. For information call 773-5847.

Club member and Master Gardener Babbidean Huber will present “Nature Friendly Landscaping With Indigenous Plants.” Karen DiCioccio will present “Certify Your Habitat With Principles of Conservations.” Guests welcome.

The Garden Club of the Tonawandas will hold a brief meeting Thursday at Tonawanda City Hall. Prior to the meeting, club members assisted by the Youngstown Girl Scout Troop 925 Cadets will dig into their annual planting at the Historical Society, Main and Fletcher streets, Tonawanda. Planners of Lancaster Garden Walk 2009 are looking for gardeners (town and village) to showcase their gardens from 10 a. m. to 4 p. m. July 18 and 19.
