Federated Holland Garden Club will meet at 11 a. m. Wednesday at the Brink Memorial Community Center, Legion Drive, Holland. Following a business meeting, election of officers and luncheon, Alayne Werner, member of the Buffalo Bonsai Society, will present “Gardens of Japan.” New members welcome.

The Western New York Rose Society will host master gardener Lyn Chimera, who will speak on native and beneficial garden plants, at 7 p. m. Wednesday at St. Stephen’s Bethlehem United Church of Christ, 750 Wehrle Drive, Amherst (near Union Road). Free admission; open to the public. Cinderella Isle Garden Club will meet at 7 p. m. Thursday at Menne Nursery, 3100 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst, for a presentation by Peter Martin, plant technician. Participants will make a dish garden or ivy-covered topiary. Business meeting to follow. For information, call Adele Upton, 773-5847.
