Garden Notes
Countryside Garden Club of Elma will tour members’ gardens Wednesday. Members will meet at 9:30 a. m. at the Elma Library to carpool. A luncheon and business meeting will follow at the home of LuAnn Burghardt, Jamison Road, Elma.

Federated Amana Garden Club will meet at 11:30 a. m. Wednesday at the home of Betty Coon. The club’s annual picnic and pound item auction will follow.

The Federated Holland Garden Club will meet at 10:30 a. m. Wednesday to walk through the gardens of members Judi Geer, on Canada Street, and Marilyn Harman, on Holland-Glenwood Road, Holland. A bag picnic lunch is planned at the Japanese garden at the Harold O. Brumsted Elementary School.
Members also will meet at 8:30 a. m. July 16 at the Holland United Methodist Church to travel to the Trial Garden at the Erie Basin Marina. Lunch will be at the Hatch.

The Federated Lancaster Garden Club will meet from 5 to 9 p. m. Wednesday for a progressive dinner and walk through several members’ gardens. Contact the club president or event chairman for details.

Orchard Park Garden Club will hold its annual Presidents’ Picnic at noon Thursday at Chestnut Ridge Park. Members will design their own “Birds & Bees” table-settings.
